Plot |

As tension
mounts in Europe, the British Government prepares antidotes against a
possible germ warfare and Richard Hannay finds himself at the center of
a demonic plot to steal them.
|
The Ally |
 |
No, you are not dreaming! Count Von
Schwabing makes here his last appearance. He also wants the germ, but
quickly understands that playing with the terrors of the earth is like
playing with fire. And when he has the chance to get rid of Hannay once
and for all, he prefers to save him and kill the bad guy. Yeah! |
|
The "Hannay
Girl" |
 |
Kirsten Larssen (Alex Kingston) is one of
my favorite Hannay girls, because she's a brillant scientist and a
courageous woman. She not only tries to clarify the death of her
father, but she also helps Hannay. Without her intelligence, half of
England would have been decimated when Hannay didn't give a damn to
threw the box with the germs in a dam. |
|
The Bad Guy |
 |
And the bad guy is ... a man of God this
time! Reverend Eric Dearth is just one of those crazy people who want
to destroy the world just to be proud of it, or maybe because there
wasn't tv, nor Internet at that time. Anyway, with tv and Internet and
more, crazy people like him still exist and have the same ideas. |

This
is the BEST episode ever! I just couldn't believe it when I saw it the
first time and haunted me for ages! I found the idea so "interesting"
in the way that biological attacks were and still are present in the
minds of the leaders of the world and terrorists all the same, and it's
a terrifying idea to use something as deadly as viruses to attack,
mainly innocent people.
