The Ally |
Mhh, good question! In
this Voyage into fear Hannay and the girl he has to protect are
completely alone. |
The "Hannay
Girl" |
 |
Madeline (Amanda Rosen), is a 14-year old
girl studying in England, where she's supposed to be Sweedish. But in fact, she's incognito as
she's the niece of the Russian Tsar. When she finds herself in danger,
she runs into Hannay's arms, calling him "Papa" so she can escape first
from her teacher, then from the bad guys. |

The Bad Guy |
 |
Even with the makeup we can recognize
you, Count Von Schwabing! Yes, The Fellowship of the Black Stone is
around and will use Madeline and Hannay to kill Britain's First Sea
Lord. But he fails, and he even is invited to have a drink with the
good guys! |

Commments |
Well, if I
understood well, this episode gives an excellent piece of advice for
children : if you feel in danger and you are sure the ugly guy is going
to kidnap you, run towards the most handsome guy around! He will
certainly help you! OK, I'm kidding, I just couldn't help saying that!
Seriously, I liked this episode, again written by Michael Robson is
very intelligent because it uses the political situation at the time
and the moral standards (how come Hannay is father if he isn't
married?). About that subject there's a funny scene between Reggie and
Eleanor, his wife, which shows again, that women are more intelligent
than men!
